The Original Rib House - Vandalia

My friend and I ate there for the first time yesterday and were surprised how good the food was. He got a New York Strip Steak and it was cooked EXACTLY as he asked. Very juicy and tasteful. I have chickens that also explode with taste. Prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend going here!

Wow. We had our wedding reception for about 40 people in the original Rib House. From the moment we met Renee (the manager) to plan and plan it, we knew we made the right decision. She was so welcoming and accommodating. From the equipment to cleaning it was very easy. The staff went out to make every guest feel special and welcome. The food was great. We had danced and the lighting made it intimate. I would recommend this place for your event.

By Dayton I find this local restaurant. I love eating local food, meeting local people and enjoying what they have to offer. I was very glad to find this place. Food was great and I was treated with such hospitality by the staff and other girls. Will be back to the area in May and will be sure to treat it to such a great meal and some great company!

It was good and worth a return trip. As simple as it sounds, a MUST is trying the house salad dressing. It is a slightly sweet Italian garlic... simple and delicious! Excellent homemade pommes.

Wanted to eat here for the last time before it closes permanently on 7/13/19. Firstly it opened at 4pm but the front door was locked. We were waited on quickly but it did take awhile for our food to arrive. The waitresses and hostes seemed overwhelmed and patrons were waiting to be seated! It took some time to get our check to pay. Not a smoothly run system like it once was in the past!
