Unfortunately, we never experienced the beer stout cheese as it was only served with mustard. Fish tacos were good fish itself wasn 't seasoned much but the pico de gallo was quite tasty and had a nice kick!
First off our server was amazing. Aside from the meatloaf she has had just about every item on the menu. When you try a place to have such a knowledge server is a god send. Hungry? Try this. Spicy? Try this. Mild? Try this. Every taste she could speak to: vegan, non spicy to just a light bite. The place offers really only one dessert Sticky Toffee Pudding more to follow. The selection of drinks covers just about every taste in beer, mixed drinks to those who just want a water. I had a Caesar very tasty I tried the mild and spicy. Next up I got their wings and an order of their version of Buffalo Cauliflower. The wings were hot. I actually had to give them a minute to cool off before enjoying. The cauliflower was amazing. It pieces were tossed in a spicy sauce. With a side dipping sauce. The only thing I would say. Is ask for a second cup of their dipping sauce especially if you are sharing this side. The wings were great. Meaty wings with an equal number of drums to flats. The sauce Franks shot sauce (sort of) was fine. Enjoyed them all. However the real star was the stick toffee pudding. The only negative was I could not get enough of their freshly made toffee sauce. But a wonderful shareable end to the meal. My guests tried a range of items including the meatloaf. No complaints. But I also would say they knew what they were getting to satisfy what they were craving. As for the mood of the place. It was busy but we were give a table for our group of 8 work minutes. I don't think we were left too long without our server stopping by to fresh drinks. A truly nice evening out.
Good food and good beers. You can get a half order of fries and a half salad, which was really nice. I also, as a 30yo, dug all the music on the playlist. I guess I'm of the age to have my musical tastes pandered to, which I'm sorry about to everyone younger and older than me.
We just wanted a beer! Walked in on the sports bar side, it was pretty crowded and loud, there was a game of some sorts going on. So we went to the other side, where it was calmer. The bartender was friendly, and checked on us often and our beer was good. One and done!
Went their for their happy hour menu after the pride parade on Pacific street, they were pretty crowded but the service was still fast! Definitely appreciate that : They have two sections in the restaurant the bar (has a pool table and the restaurant with a patio. We sat in the patio because it was a beautiful day and I definitely liked the vibes! The music was good and not too loud. I got their gochujang cauliflower and garlic parmesan fries. The cauliflower was a bit disappointing, could not taste the gochujang flavour and it wasn't crispy. The fries were good, especially their garlic dipping sauce. We asked for extra dipping sauce for the fries and they didn't charge extra for that.. love it!
