Wendy's - Vancouver

A solid Wendy's franchise. Quite clean inside and good friendly service every time I have been.

First time that someone went around offering mints to customers at Wendy's, I like it. Everything else is pretty much standard.

Called in for a quick lunch, took ages to make myself understood by the counter staff. I could not make myself understood, and I could not understand them. We eventually managed to communicate enough to place an order. My receipt was correct to what we...ordered, however when it was served the order was wrong, eventually all was sorted out and we were able to enjoy the usual Wendy's grub.

Food was undercooked. Woman in the drive thru was rude and couldn’t care less about customer service.

They DO try hard to keep this place in reasonable condition but there is no escaping that it is right smack dab in the worst part of town (and the whole Island for that matter), right across from a Tent City that is starting to...look like a scene from a Post-Apocalyptic movie. That unfortunately equates to the fact that the parking lot is full of zoned-out people intoxicated on who knows what talking to walls, vomiting their lunch, and lining up to use the toilets. Again, I feel for the staff who have to work here but on a recent visit one of them didn't even know how to take payment for a drive thru order. Hello? Did you get ANY training at all? I'm not desperate for a Frosty this bad that I can't drive north a couple of miles to Rock City Centre and enjoy a meal in a Wendy's that not in a battle zone.
