Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar - Vancouver

The bar lady is really outstanding. A wide selection of drinks are available and she has an amazing cocktail offering

This is an incredibly wonderful cocktail lounge, and I wish an Uva was in every city we visit. With an eclectic and all aged crowd, Uva meets the needs of everyone. While the servers are expert mixologists, they have learned how to concentrate on their craft and still converse with the patrons, making all feel welcomed. My vodka Martini was enhanced with just a touch of lemon oil. Who knew? However, this lemon oil made all the difference. Lilly, explained this with patience and charm to me, without an ounce of condescension, even though I was light years older than most of the people in the bar. It made me feel welcomed, and we both want to return to Uva, perhaps Vancouver's best cocktail lounge.

It's part of the Moda hotel. Server was pretty good and funny. I don't drink, but they had juice for me. We had a little snack too. If they had , more appy options that would be a plus. All around though it was a nice before bed stop.

We met for cocktails early Friday evening and it was surprisingly quiet so we got a table OK. They have a decent selection of cocktails and craft beers which I enjoyed. Service was fine and friendly. It's part of a hotel, next to the lobby and in a good central downtown location. Pretty decent all round really.

Cozy and warm after on a rainy day. Crowd is mid. Staff is friendly. And good location in the city. Bar wall adds a trendy touch to this hotel bar. Will be back
