Total 17 pcs: Spicy Dynamite Roll, Spicy Scallop Roll Spicy Tuna Roll $14.95 The spicy chopped scallop and tuna wasn't too slimy or spicy. Just perfect with a dab of soy sauce. They also have a loyalty card where you get a stamp for every visit. 10th visit gets you a free meal. You can order online as you're getting off the train and by the time you arrive, it's ready for pick up.
Wow lots of improvement from Urban Sushi. My firm loves ordering food from Urban Sushi. Well actually, even though my firm is located downtown but not a lot of restaurants willing to cater. We have ordered sushi from Urban many times and so far the last 10 times, they didn't disappoint. Sushi and sashimi quality have improved alot. I look forward to Urban Sushi when I know we are getting sushi for our meeting. Yummy.
Updated review: oh geez. We went from bad to worse on this one. They are now doing an order up front model where you have to stand and decide everything you want at the door, then pay and get a number and then find yourself a table. BEWARE! If you order and then go in and there no seats available there is nothing you can do! The service is soooo slow. I was number 20 and sat for ten minutes before realizing that number 15 was next to me and still hadn't got her food. You have to serve yourself in entirety get you own napkins, chopsticks/cutlery and pour your own tea. I have no idea what's going on here. Instead of inside being Mongolian grill and one side being Urban grille now one side is Urban Grill and one side is urban Wok, get there's only one entrance. Oh lord what is going on. Female manager is still flustered behind counter yelling. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse. Wine was cheap, $4 a glass until you realize it's not a standard size, maybe 4 ounce I think. Sashimi was tasty, and Oyako don hasn't arrived yet after 20 min so I'll complete my review in 2019 when it arrives
Spicy Roll Combo: Spicy Chopped Scallop Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll Spicy Dynamite Roll So my friends and I were hanging out in Downtown and we actually wanted to go to this pasta place but we were on a time crunch cuz I sort of got lost on the sky train and we met up later than planned. We also had to make it back to church at 5 for fellowship cuz we had worship team practice so we just randomly went to a sushi restaurant on the side of the street. Man let me tell you, this street gave me mad sad memories so I'm sorry if my review on this is sorta off cuz my tastebuds were being sad and weren't working to the best of their ability LET ME START OFF WITH THE FACT THAT WELL... I FELT SCAMMED You may ask, Jocelyn why are you so heated? Let me tell you why When I entered into this sushi place I was like okay cute sushi café/small restaurant esque. That's good and fresh. Totally vibing with the aesthetic. It's a self serve restaurant which is completely fine, cuts down on cost cuz there's only one waitress who stands at the front and also brings in your food. Profit Revenue-Cost. Lower Cost More Profit However, THAT wasn't the problem. The problem is that I ordered a SPICY roll combo. SPIE- CEEEEEE oKaY. Let me repeat that again. SPICY. We all know that I am literally IN LOVE with chopped scallops rolls. Dude. My SPIECEE Scallop Roll was half super spicy and half not spicy at all. Okay what the heck. The tuna roll was a bit better with the distribution of spice but my dynamite roll wasn't even a TINY bit spicy. Dude I paid money and ordered this cuz I wanted spicy 100% wont come here again cuz the sushi wasn't spectacular or anything and my friends' bento boxes were made out of PLASTIC... what about the turtles
I asked for take out order and they gave me my food like this, no even a bag!! The sushi wasn't good either! Really disappointed. Do not recommend
