My three kids enjoyed their food although more of a selection of kids food like chicken strips and fries or something like that. They loved the ice cream with chocolate sauce. The wife and I enjoyed their ham and potatoes with gravy. The cheesecake was on the hard side. The coffee was excellent and the pop was good. I personally believe the price for children should be a bit less. Would I return to Uncle Willy's maybe but probably for breakfast. Dinner didn't have much of a good selection.
Had an awful time finding the place and none of the locals in the mall seemed to know about it but once you exit the Bay you'll see it. Good food for the money. We loved it and went back two nights in a row.
Wow ! Almost over 30 years ,this restaurant chain still alive and kicking !I remember my dad all ways take me to the West Board way every Sunday after the church ! well done for the owners, I believe they open the Burnaby location around Later 80's and early 90's ,with my well over fifty years experience in the hospitality industry , ** you pay what you get ** this is not your 5 star buffet ,the restaurant is big and clean ,very reasonable price ,and a lot of choices ,of course ,the chicken still the best ,it is a great place to go with the kids ,special a long day after shopping in Metro Town ,lot of mall parking ,so ,try it out ,be open mind ! Kids and the Stomach will for you !
The restaurant is good for a cheap and lazy brunch. The lunch costs you slightly more than $10. While the variety is small, chickens here have been reasonably good (was the best of its kind in early 90s,) with incredibly fresh salad. Don't try any chinese food here (they are worse than your worst imagination.) Drinks are tasteless, but, the desserts here are not bad. I would recommend you to go there by yourself and enjoy a lengthy lunch time with nice salad and chickens.
This is the last of a local chain of buffet restaurants. The food quality is average but the fried and roasted chicken is top notch. The sodas are a cheap unknown brand and you can taste the cheapness.
