We found this place in Google best burgers in Vancouver, I was craving a really good burger without being fancy or fusion. The place has a really nice ambiance, music from the 50's - 60's, good service from the waitress, open windows with fresh air. We order the classic Canadian poutine two classic cheeseburgers and they didn't disappoint at all. They were super good, we got the Classic Jr. which is 3oz patty for 7.95, you can get bigger burgers going from 10 to 15 dollars. They have variety in the menu, you can find salads, kids menu or built your own burger. Really nice place and highly recommended.

We arrived before 6:00 p.m for dinner before a show on a Friday night. The place was already busy and we were seated promptly by a very friendly, efficient lady. The menu offers appetizers/sides, a kids menu and several salads, but the specialty is burgers - you can order set kinds, or build your own. They are also licenced. I chose a fairly simple turkey burger and my friend had the same, but with beef, with a side of yam fries. The burgers were very tasty and the buns were light and freshly made. I thought that mine, especially the turkey, could have had more flavour, but it still was delicious. The restaurant was a bit noisy for my liking, but at least we didn't feel crowded at the table, nor rushed by the server (who was excellent, by the way).

I was visiting Vancouver and about to catch the train back to Richmond and I needed a place with Wifi, a drink and somewhere to escape the snow! The Cannibal Cafe caught my eye, and I ventured in for a quick look. I was quickly welcomed, sat down and reviewed the menu. Although my original plan was not to eat here, after looking at the menu a burger seemed like a great choice. I ordered the blue cheese burger and house red wine. The burger was wonderful, cooked to perfection! Very happy with my decision to eat at the Cannibal Cafe.
