Tap & Barrel - Vancouver

Once you navigate past Dracula and her 2 handmaidens at the hostess station, and accept that here "starter" means 5 seconds before the rest of your meal , you are in for a very pleasant surprise. Our server was first class and the beer and food excellent. Haute Cuisine it ain't but if you enjoy good pub food and excellent beer then why not spoil yourself. And the scenery, both stationary and moving , on a pleasant late summer evening isn't to be sneezed at eitherHighly recommended.

We showed up to the waterfront thirsty and hungry after spending most of the day at Grouse Mountain. We got a seat on the patio where we wanted, had a really nice server (Amanda), and enjoyed some drinks and pizza. Everything was pretty good, and if you're in that part of town and want a decent meal, I would definitely recommend this place.

Visited this restaurant twice on our visit to Vancouver. I would give this Place 3.5. Both visits we did have to wait about 15 minutes only because we requested to sit on the patio. The food was great our first visit, so we returned another visit for dessert & drinks. It is a nice location, close to hotels near Canada place. We only went into the main restaurant to use the washrooms- but it seemed to be nice, clean & modern - there were tv's to watch sports.

Nous avons pris un Burger et une bière, très bon, service agréable et rapide, mais rien de plus à ajouter. C'est un peu cher mais sans doute à cause du lieu (position géographique) et du type de cuisine.

My family visit at least twice every year during trips to Vancouver and always enjoy sitting and watching the world go by but our visit last night with friends was fantastic!We were a group of 11 (5 kids 9yrs & under) so not an ideal customer for most venues but our server Eric went above and beyond the entire evening. He was friendly, joined in with our jokes, was so kind to our kids and gave us great recommendations for beers - an absolute gem!!!It was our friend's 1st time at Tap & Barrel but they are definitely all going back!The food is great and the drink selection is large, lots of craft beers!
