Tamales Don Carlos - Vancouver

Amazing Mexican! Not traditional tacos and burritos, but had 13-17 yo kids and it was enjoyed by all! Tamales, huevos cob chorizo...all amazing

Food taste/quality/presentation were above averageUnfortunately so we're the prices, relative to what you get.

The hot illusions with love from Moss Street Market are a must try. Don, the chef, is not only brilliant but also genuine. He is loved by everyone who visits.

This establishment is unclean and uninviting. I reside nearby and have noticed that it has been abandoned for years. Although it is a charming and unique house, likely built in the 1930s, it does not house a pub, restaurant, or tamale vendor. I have never heard of Don selling tamales in that location.

Every Saturday, my friend and I visit Moss Street Market for a delicious vegetable tamale. It's so good and Don is a really nice guy. The flavors remind me of something you would get from a vendor in Mexico. Definitely worth trying!
