The beef red curry was delicious and cooked perfectly, with the tender beef melting in my mouth. There were plenty of bamboo shoots in the curry, giving it a nice, spicy flavor. The Royal Pad Thai was also very good, and the prawns were excellent.

After dining at this restaurant 20 times and spending $80 each time, I believe the manager should consider hiring more friendly servers instead of the rigid ESL female server who can be abrupt.

Love the "hot" dishes....best curry chicken, pad Thai....even the simpler dishes like spring rolls. Reasonable prices as well.

Take Thai Home has definitely improved over time, and it appears that its take out customers are loyal and frequent.The menu is fairly extensive for such a small place, and though I have explored it a bit, my favourite is still the Pad Thai. Particularly good on a rainy afternoon, the food is steaming hot, and has a great fragrance and pleasant degree of chemical heat.While the restaurant is large enough, it does not seem to depend on customers eating on site. Although that would probably mean hiring more waiters, it is a wonder that they don't exploit that obvious possibility. Some more welcoming touches to the dining room, perhaps some booths or nicer chairs, even a few potted plants might be worth the investment.Still, I have found this little eatery to have good service, good food and a menu that keeps people coming back for more. For a light and satisfying meal at a very reasonable cost, you can't go far wrong with Take Thai Home.
