Sushi Aoki - Vancouver

Aoki is a top choice for my family when it comes to sushi in the midst of many affordable sushi restaurants on Broadway.

The sushi was okay, but the udon soup tasted like water with bean sprouts. It definitely needed soy sauce.

Was working on the same block so I thought it would be handy for a quick lunch.Parking was good right next door at Cloverdale paint.Another well worn venue that could use updating.Food was o.k. at best but served fairly quick.My order was a combination lunch box and was filling but not more than average tasting at best.Washroom was beat up.Value was about average for the area.

Little place. mature woman server and unhappy to serve a customer. sushi chef is pleasant and friendly greetings. food was frozen, thawed, served and you can taste the process. most things advertised on the wall was out-of-season. chef did his best with what he had to work with. average experience.

This is the basic sushi joint. They do some pretty good basic rolls, upon with salmon and tuna, miso, and.... SERVICE was good and attentive.
