The signature cauliflower wings were served in a generous portion over a bed of rice, accompanied by a flavorful spinach salad. I couldn't help but wonder if they use gochujang in their sauce. I also tried their medium-spiced cauliflower wings and mini croquettes, which were unexpectedly meringue-like in texture. I particularly enjoyed the crispy outer layer of the fried food, so if you're like me, you'll appreciate it as well.
Decided to get Rolling Cashew since I was really craving their croquettes and aioli! Those obviously did not dissapoint and were so crunchy and had an amazing flavour and the aioli is one of the best. I also got the beef bulgogi bowl and it was not too bad but a little bit bland and the soy mince had a weird sweet flavour that I wasn 't a fan of. The side salad and avocadoes were really good and the portion was large and filling but I reccomend the fried cauli more than the bulgogi!
Super delicious cauliflower burger, I enjoyed every bite of it. But the hazelnut mousse cake iS A MUST TRY. IT IS OUTSTANDING, one of the best desserts I have ever had.
Tasty vegan food and at a very fair price. My brother had tried this place last week and told me I should try it too. So we decided to get takeout from their truck at the Broadway tech centre. I had their toasted sandwich combo. It comes with a sandwich made with homemade focaccia, croKets (potato croquettes), salad, and your choice of sauce for the croKets. We got the garlic sauce and the wasabi sauce. They were both creamy and very similar to a mayo, but vegan! I liked the garlic one more. The wasabi taste wasn't very present, so it just tasted like mayo. The croKets are SO GOOD. Honestly I would go back just to eat those. They're perfectly crisp with all the little edges. The sandwich combo was actually quite large. I couldn't finish everything and had to save some croKets for later. My brother said the cauli-burger was very BBQ sauce forward, but tasty. He enjoyed the vegan bacon as well. We also got the hazelnut chocolate mousse cake. Definitely reminded me of a ferrero rocher. I like the added texture with the nuts and it also isn't too sweet! Overall, the food is flavourful, filling, and reasonably priced. I would definitely get this again. Their menu is small, but they do it well.
Tried some new items this time around, and they were a hit or miss. I still love their sandwich combo and hazelnut mousse cake though, which is why I'm still giving it five stars. Hazelnut Mousse Cake (5/5) This has never disappointed me. It's amazing every time and is my favourite vegan cake ever. Bulgogi (4.5/5) I liked the flavour of the soy mince, especially coupled with the creaminess of the aioli. The salad dressing was tasty and the greens were fresh, though I would have liked a little more chickpeas in the salad. The soy mince was a little wet so it doesn't have the texture of meat, but I didn't mind and I still enjoyed it. It won't fool a meat-eater though, if you're concerned about that. Pumpkin Pie (1/5) I found this quite disappointing. The pie was limp and the crust was undercooked so it was still very doughy. The filling wasn't thick and it was kind of gooey. This is probably the worst thing that I got here so far, which makes me sad because their food is normally so good and I love their hazelnut mousse cake.
