Red Ginger Asian Cuisine - Vancouver

The food and service at the Red Ginger couldn't be better. The family feeling is evident from the time you are seated, until you are rolling yourself back out the door! We ordered a full meal, soup, appetizer, entrees and dessert. The meat and seafood were of high quality and the portions were huge. My hot and sour soup (one bowl) would be enough to feed 4 normal appetites. It was delicious and served very hot. Spring rolls were some of the best ever. We ordered a shrimp dish and a beef entrée. Both were expertly prepared and perfect, and enough for at least 4 to share. I won't spoil any of the surprises, but the owner takes great care to make you feel welcome and share stories. This will be a definite stop anytime I am in Vancouver!

Went twice and Kam remembered us, some of our names, very personable. The food was tasty, cooked to perfection and came to our table piping hot. Great selection and price was very reasonable. Particularly liked the ginger beef, calamari appetizer, spicy tofu. Appreciated having variety of vegetarian dishes for the two vegetarians in our group.

We were heartily greeted and made to feel more welcome than I personally have felt at a restaurant in a long time. I felt like we were treated like gold! We chose it because of the proximity to the Park Inn on broadway but we were very pleased at our serendipity. Our server and host Kam (spelling?) was exuberant and charismatic, helping us along to ensure we were getting what we needed—his sense of humour was a highlight. Along with the service the food itself was piping hot, well seasoned and sauced and with good value for the pricing! Look for a bright window seat and a big table (you'll need it to hold all the dishes you'll want to try!)

Great place to meet friends, tradition menu, very friendly staff . Eager to please. Large portions and fast service. We will be back.

The food is divine the service gracious the seating comfortable and accommodating of wheelchairs etc and the decor unparelled beautiful gallery of fine antique Asian arts. Nice music great sound levels and it completely confounds me why the place isnt packed to the rafters with their under $10 lunch special including small spicey soup and complimentary small desert treat.
