Przekaż informację zwrotnąThis is a very poorly placed restaurant. Located in the worst neighborhood in vancouver surrounded by people using drugs right in the open and homeless people all over the place. So unless you wanna walk past all the Junkies in the nearby area to get here I do not recommend coming here.Atmosphere: 1/5
We came here mostly because it was used in a couple of X Files episodes, but the food was really good and you get a huge portion for a really decent price. I loved the atmosphere here; the high backed booths, the torn leather, the random little touches like the dog skeleton peeing on a wine bottle lamp...it's just great.
It's exactly what you would expect from the Ovaltine. How this restaurant greets and hosts the city's most vulnerable is commendable. Good food, excellent service and the kindest and most colorful folks you can imagine. The milkshakes are to die for. Many blessings Ovaltine and keep up the great work ?Food: 4/5
I think it’s really important to note that this diner is in the heart of an unhoused area where there are a lot of drugs. As a tourist, I couldn’t read that from previous reviews.Yes, the server was super kind! Yes, the food was greasy but fine. But the kitchen was dirty and I wouldn’t return.
If you 're tired of pretend to be places, it doesn 't get more real than this! Have always heard about this traditional diner but never tried before because of it 's location. Today was my first time and I had an amazing experience. It may look old and and a bit messy (because it is, lol) but it has the most honest brunch I 've had in Vancouver. Definitely not fancy, there won 't be waitresses pampering you every second, and the food is probably a 4 out of 5, but I 've rated it as 5 because with the low prices, it 's definitely worth it!
