Nuba Cafe - Vancouver

Don't be fooled by this unpretentious cafe! The food is fantastic! There are vegan and gluten-free options and they are excellent. I had the crispy cauliflower appetizer and the lentil soup. Highly recommend them both. The lentil soup is slightly spicy, but soooo good! My friend had the stuffed eggplant, which was delicious! There are meat options as well. Great place to take all kinds of eaters.

Very fresh ingredients. Hummus was perfect blend of tangy and smooth . Baba ganoush was delectable not bitter very smooth and dusted with exotic sumac powder . Small treasure of tabbouleh Lots of warm fresh pita for dipping. Cucumber flavoured ice water. Friendly ,efficient service with genuine smiles. Not intrusive but discrete Prices were reasonable. Premises were clean and leave a good impression.After looking at murals was looking for substance in a hurray .i was absolutely delighted with this wonderful gem and can't wait to go back.Lamb and desert looked delicious.

Experienced delicious middle eastern dishes at Nuba the other evening. Great variety of dishes for a veggie and a meat eater. Not easy to find in a restaurant. Server was prompt and happily doing her job - really pleasant. Would definitely return.

Great place to eat as a vegetarian! Their hummus is so fresh and the flavors in their dishes are so yummy!
