New Town Bakery & Restaurant

Today had lunch here! The siao mai or pork dumpling was delicious! Had the spicy ???? squid ???? too. Staff is friendly and nice. Very good place for a casual meal, after visiting the Classical Chinese Gardens!! Xixie!!

I almost walked by this gem, I decided to go in where I had to take a number. The wIt was actually short, under 5 minutes for certain. I bought a bunch of steamed buns and other pastries. All were really good. To outright amazing. I actually went back and bought more of the apple tarts.

Came for lunch while touring Chinatown. place stays very busy, but we stood in line and were seated. hot and sour soup was fabulous, among the best I've had. satay beef with rice was my entrée. It was also very good, but IMHO could have used more peanut flavor. That said, Chinese food is a very subjective experience. I finished the dish and part of someone's beef and veggies. we returned later for dessert. I had an enormous almond cookie which I shared with the table. delicious. service was ok. atmosphere very vintage urban.

Fomos à Chinatown especialmente para comer comida chinesa. Encontramos esse restaurante, que era também uma confeitaria. Os pratos eram bem servidos, camarões bem frescos, só um pouco gorduroso pro nosso gosto. Levamos ainda alguns doces e salgados pra casa. Muito bom!

Wir haben bei einer Führung durch Chinatown dieses Lokal empfohlen bekommen. Die Preise sind echt fair und das Essen schmeckt wie in China, da kommen Erinnerungen hoch es ist zwar etwas beengt und sehr gut besucht, aber das spricht auch für sich.Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen!
