Jingle Bao - Vancouver

We ordered the giant XLB, and I was amazed by the size of this dumpling! I couldn't wait to break it open and sip the broth through the straw. We chose the spicy version, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! Each bite was packed with flavor and featured tender meat. I thought it was even more savory compared to the classic regular-sized XLB.

I visited Jingle Bao for the first time this past weekend. I saw their Bao High Tea on instagram and knew I had to try it! I really liked the variety and tried many dim sum items I am not familiar with. Not only was it beautiful, but flavourful as well. I wouldn't say it was the best dim sum I have ever had, but it was an enjoyable meal.

The best vegetarian dumplings I've had in Vancouver. However, extreme slow service and not so clean tables; we requested cleaning multiple times :(And, oh my quite expensive. Regular menu is a little pricey so we usually come for Happy Hour.Portions are pretty good. Highly recommend the Orange chicken. The bao’s are high quality. Service staff are usually very cheerful. The interior decor is nice as well.

This place was a nice surprise especially with all of the endless options in Vancouver. Arrived around 11am on a Friday am and the place was empty, (got way busier after we left). We ordered multiple dishes with the regular soup dumplings and shiu mai being the best. Every thing was fresh and steaming hot.
