Homer St Cafe & Bar - Vancouver

One of my new favorite brunch spots in Yaletown. Sneaky, hole in the wall. The eggs Benny were cooked for perfection. Excellent service, friendly staff and amazing coffee. The food took some time, but it was worth waiting. Anyway, you want to come back for dinner.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal for Valentine's Day. My wife and I enjoyed both our meals and the collection of appetizers we shared. Very recommended. We will return regularly.

Really an amazing restaurant. Very unique and homely interior. With my wife and friends to brunch. We had the best server Stefania was super friendly and accommodating for nutritional restrictions. The food was fantastic. I tried the special horned cattle ****, it was good value and a good recommendation from the server. Our friends had the Halibut Brandade and it was also great. Portions for everything was somewhat smaller than expected, but overall a great experience will definitely come back to taste the lunch menu. Service 5/5

INCREDIBLE! It 's rare I come away totally amaed but we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly helpful and the bartender was ready with my beer questions. We sampled our way through the happy hour menu. Everything was really top notch. The oysters were plump, fresh and delicious. The wings were possibly the best I 've ever had. Not the usual bar Buffalo wings but something lightly breaded and fried perfectly. And it goes on and on. It all was really good. They don 't have branded tap handles (sorry for the boring tap photo) but they do have a good selection of local craft brews. We worked our way through the happy hour menu and four beers and I was really pleased how they had a beer to pair with everything. Everyone should find a beer they like. We snuck in early, without a reservation, on a Friday night and they fit us in with a smile and a friendly we have a reservation for that spot at 5:30... . We were super early for happy hour so it was no issue for us and I LOVE that the hostess was thinking on her feet and making it work. Win win for everyone.

Went in with a friend for Sunday brunch at 1pm. Perfect time to go the crowd was dying down. Ordered the day's special of pulled pork eggs Benny and had the Caramel Kiss and a mimosa. Really yummy stuff! Bonus, our server Stefania was easily one of the best servers I've encountered in years. Delightful!
