Ho Ho Yummy - Vancouver

I've gone to Ho Ho Yummy manyl times over the last few years and the food was decent and cheap. Today, I just needed a quick bite after running errands. Sadly, their food has gone downhill. They have always had a large selection in their...ready to eat area. But they keep their food out way too long. The curry seafood tasted as though it had been prepared three or more hours ago. The fried squid sat there so long it was not crispy and not edible. The Singapore rice noodles were full of fillers and lacked flavour. After today's meal, I would say it was the worst Chinese take-out I've had in many years.

The food at this restaurant is very good for a quick meal at an affordable price. For lunch, you can choose rice with two toppings and a fountain drink. The seating is limited and they prefer if you don't stay long, but the staff is very friendly and the prices are great.

I stumbled upon Ho Ho's while walking down Davie Street. The noodles were great, but I found the batter on the prawns to be a bit thick for my liking. However, the prawns themselves were tasty, as well as the chicken steak in spicy cooler sauce. This place is more of a takeaway spot than a sit-down restaurant, and the decor isn't very inviting. Despite that, it's good value for money.

I make sure to visit this restaurant every time I'm in Vancouver. Don't let the decor fool you, the food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the zu-go combos. They are open late and accept cash only.

I've been going to ho ho ho for years. it's my way to place when I take out a fast repair from Chinese. we usually make a few combos. I think eating has improved in the course of the years. it is cheap and fresh. the couple that leads the place is very friendly.
