Przekaż informację zwrotnąAte here on the night of our arrival at the Georgian Court Hotel. Food was delicious and service very good. Recommended. Try the cheesecake!
We booked to ensure we could get in, all was great and a very smart place. 2 of us shared the antipasto to start, with one having the calamari, and one not bothering with a starter. The food came at a reasonable pace and all was good. Halfway through our starter they tried to bring the main course which we sent back and told them to wait. Virtually as soon as we had finished our starters they were there to bring the main course. 2 of us had the meatballs which were OK, our son had the rigatoni which he said was a bit plain and possibly suffered from being kept warm. Our daughter had the lasagne which had dried up a bit on top, again probably suffering from being kept warm. We always tip the lasagne out to allow it to cool, the waitress took the bowl and then told us off for making her burn her hands as the bowl was hot, a couple of minutes later another asked why it was not in a bowl!Overall an OK meal spoilt by the main course coming too quickly.
We ate here after touring around Vancouver on a Sunday. This restaurant is attached to the Georgian Court hotel. we were greeted by a very nice hostess and were seated quickly. The waiter came over quickly and took our dink and appy order. We had some very nice calamari which was very tender and not chewy. the drinks came quickly with our appy order. I had the veal which was tender and delicious. I can't remember what my family had but they were very happy with it also. All together after drinks, appy, food and dessert out bill with tip was about $200 which I think was good for the amount we got and we did DRINK. !!! I would reccomend this restaurant very highly.
We found Frankie's on a visit to Vancouver, just before we took a Holland-America cruise north to Alaska. Frankie's provided a great band (Nick Hempton Trio from New York), excellent Italian cuisine, and fine wines. Staff were friendly and competent Don't fret if all the tables are taken - the bar offers a good view of proceedings and the same fine food.
Calamari, Lasagna and hamburger were delicious. Marguerite pizza was like eating a can of tomato sauce. I was so disappointed.
