Five Sails - Vancouver

We went to five sails for date night in our last night in vancouver and could not have been impressed anymore. the restaurant is located for beginners in the beautiful Pan-Pazifisch hotel and the Oceans bar below had live music that really set the ton. when we went to the staff, were friendly and accommodating and took our moms and immediately let us sit in an intimate table for two views on the harbour. we could not have been sitting for more than 2 minutes when our waiter came and got our drinks. he came back with the five sail mojitos we ordered and brought fresh sourdough. that has set the ton for the rest of the night. our waiter (which I remembered his name) was attentive and friendly. never had to be asked for more water and the tellers were deleted as soon as we were finished. the food came out quickly and everything was incredibly delicious. portion sizes are not large, but are about average for what they would expect in a fine restaurant as this. that said we have left definitiw hunger. we both had the daily specials. my wife had the slow braided Veal keks, and I had the halibut with Lobster kesseln. eating was fantastic. dessert was just as delicious and came out quickly. overall we were very happy with our experience and will be sure that we are next time in vancouver.

Excellent food, stunning views, service bordering on unctuous from some.

500 dollars for 2 people I would hope to have beer selection more then 2 types. I like Heineken personally. I ended up drinking up sparkling water. My wife got to enjoy her champagne and red.

This is a beautiful restaurant with views of the water, city and mountains beyond. Quiet and elegant decor. Exceptional service. Food presentation is artful and very appealing. We had a variety of beef and seafood dishes, appetizers and desserts. Done to perfection.

Their services was first-class, they made an effort in providing special accommodation for my girlfriend and I since it was our anniversary. The price was a bit on the expensive side for the food, but the services made it worth while. Unfortunately, there was some issue with our foods that sort of ruined the evening but overall the dining expereince was enjoyable.
