The poutine was amazing, fries with grilled onions and gravy on top. There were three strip of bacon, wish there had been a bit more.. Maybe it would be wise to crumble them over the poutine. The poutine was 7.99. As for my chips, I wanted the tumbleweed chips but the server had it down as fries so she gave me a side of fries. Told her, then they made me the chips on the spot. I thought they'd be crispy all over, but when I had my first one, it was crispy on the side but soft in the middle. Thought it might have been because it hasn't cooled down yet. Gave it a few minutes, and it just got more soft, though it is a interesting side compared to the typical fries. The chip is around 3.49. Maybe ill try their baby burger next time... Thought I'm not a big fan of burgers, especially the huge ones...
I recently had the pleasure of grabbing take out from Harbour Spoon and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the quality was top-notch. The menu had a great selection of traditional Slavic dishes, as well as some unique and creative options. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Harbour Spoon to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Slavic take out experience.
Just had the giant meatball plate. Price is a little up there, but I can see why. The dish is big enough to split into 2 for two lunches. This is what I look for when I choose a place to eat during my lunch break. Quality is the highest among the restaurants. Surprisingly low traffic for a place with such good quality and portion sizes. Update: After going here 2 more times, the quantity has decreased substantially. The containers provided were different every time, and smaller than the first time I purchased the meal. Overall, too expensive for the current quantity provided. I?m now no longer able to split the meals for leftovers. At a price of $17, it is one of the most expensive meals in the food court, given the quantity. Reply: Splitting the meals is my choice. My point is that the initial portion sizes were large enough to split. There are also 2 other places I visit that don?t use frozen foods, while the others do. As for your loyalty cards? why wasn?t I offered one after visiting 3 times? Adjusting my score to 2 stars for inconsistency.
Excellent food as always? feels like I am at my grandmas house for some food when I eat here? I?m disappointed they had to change their classic ?Russian spoon? name to harbour spoon since some customers/outsiders pathetically harassed this poor establishment because of the political conflict happening in Russia? like how dense do you have to be to go out of your way to harass them because you got triggered over their name when they have zero affiliation to the war that is completely out of their control? shame? well anyways, I?ve been going here way back to their original location in New Westminster and I come to this location when I happen to be around Vancouver area. Ladies working here have a heart of gold and funny enough..all the bad reviews they get just come from people who don?t know how to first ask them if they have a problem? love you ladies!
I obnoxiously ate some delicious sauerkraut first day back to school. Thank you Russian Spoon for the damn good sausage and perogies!
