Dynasty Seafood Restaurant - Vancouver

Amazing hot, fresh, and tasty food. Lots of options. Wish the dim sum menu was larger. Great family/group restaurant. Great service.Parking: Parking is under the building and validated.

The most recent visit to Dynasty Restaurant for dim sum was a disappointment. Dynasty is considered one of Vancouver's top dim sum restaurants, however most of our items off the menu were inspired and unseasoned. The congee lacked basic seasoning the rice noodles were limp and not flavorful. The deep fried calamari was a mess rubbery squid. Even the haw gau was not particularly flavourful. With so many other excellent dim sum restaurants in the city (Kirin Sea Harbor to name two), I cannot recommend Dynasty.Parking: Free parking under the building.

Came here for dimsum and dinner and the service was excellent both times. The lobster over sticky rice was amazing and a must try! The dimsum menu has recommended popular items and they were all delicious and all came out in a timely manner. Free parking around the back of the building was also a plus!

What a crashing disappointment! Dinner here was laughably bad. We needed to hunt down a host to seat us. We tried to order cocktails, ended up with undrinkable highballs- imagine a gin and tonic without a lime wedge (the tonic tasted like lemon lime soda, they didn’t even do that right! . We ordered a 3 course Peking Duck. The skin wrapped in crepes was okay but flavourless, and the next two courses were inedible. Seafood chow mein was a stodgy flavourless mess, and the skimpy seafood on top wasn’t cleaned correctly. Pea tips were overcooked and also devoid of flavour. At over $100 each just for food, we expected more- much more. Michelin has no business putting this restaurant on a recommended list.

My friend is a regular customer so service tonight is exceptional. Quite different from my past experience. I asked for low sodium option and they listened. Lobster is slightly over cooked, still delicious. Overall a great dining experience.
