We talked to the waitress and she apologized and we promised we would come back.As we were about to drive away, the waitress came running out and asked us to come back. She said they felt bad sending us away and would cook for us.Long story short but they remained open for us for another hour so we could eat together. The service was fantastic and the food was even better.Definitely our go to Persian place now and I think we will always be loyal customers due to the kindness they showed us.BTW I never order kebabs from Persian places because I find them over cooked and rubbery. The waitress said we should try it and it’s the best one I have had. Go to Celeshmet just to eat it
I had high expectations after reading the positive reviews but the food and service was just average at best. They don't have menus available and this wasn't explained to us until we wondered why none were brought out after requesting one as it's online only. They brought out one plate at a time, so everyone else had to wait for their dishes. Portions are not generous and I was still hungry after dinner. The place was completely empty of customers when we dined in at 7:30 pm. I think that this is more of a takeout restaurant than a dine in experience as sauces came in plastic containers. The lack of a good atmosphere and just average customer service makes me don't want to return back.
I bought an authentic meal with my family just trying out some of the places in the area, and Celeshmet took the lead. The food was made fresh, and was traditionally put together. Great place to go for some Persian magic!
I dined at an Iranian restaurant in Vancouver and had an unforgettable experience. Warm hospitality, authentic spices, and beautiful decor created a personalized culinary journey. The menu offered a delectable array of traditional Iranian dishes that catered to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Each dish was a flavorful delight, skillfully crafted with authentic spices and ingredients that highlighted the rich heritage of Iranian cuisine. The saffron-infused rice was an absolute standout, a fragrant and vibrant canvas that perfectly complemented every dish. The kebabs were tender and succulent, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Jooje Kabab Ba Ostokhan . The price was also reasonable.
It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant with a quiet outdoor garden. We ordered the Golchin for appetizer and Vaziri Kebab with Rice. Both of them are amazingly delicious. The Kebab is very juicy. The owner also let us try a small bowl soup that’s very tasty. The service was great and fast. We’ll come back for sure!
