Reservations are necessary, but I do not know if they will accept walk-ins on game days. The carving station closes when the game starts, the other foods are out until the end of the first intermission, and the desserts are out until the end of the second intermission. They will hold your table if you are going to watch the game and will return later for more food. It's open after the game, but only for drinks. The staff couldn't find our reservation at first, but did seat us. The staff is very friendly, from the hostess, to the waiter, and manager. Maybe it's just me, but I found some of the other diners quite loud and annoying. I'm not sure if the menu changes for every game or not, but we had a roast (I believe that it was prime rib) and a ham at the carving station; cold crab legs, jumbo prawns and mussels on ice; lamb shanks and a nice sable fish in the hot section; and other items that we did not try. The dessert table had creme brulee, lemon pie, and homemade chocolate truffles, 3 difference macrons, and those butterfly shaped cookies. There were other dessert items that we didn't try or I forgot. We enjoyed the dining experience and ate enough to be happily satisfied. I would go here again before a game.
Good food selection, friendly staff and fun environment. it's nice going to the game and having a decent meal before. Beverage selection is decent as well.
As a member to the captains room I was a little upset that in the Canucks history they have had 13 captains however I could only find 12 photos ? And the one they seemed to leave out was my favorite canuck of all time .However when you go for dinner have a game plan , hit the salads for some very fresh crisp multi choice salads , then the seafood prawns crab legs mussels , you could next go to the potato dishes or a chicken medley or baked seafood sorry I just looked , I headed to the spicy beef ribs good grief should have stated here , roast beef , and 14 hour smoked brisket ! I don't do the desert thing but my friends wouldn't stop talking about them right through the 3 rd period , ya after dinner you watch a hockey game and then return to your table for some applies desert ect. The staff is very quick to remove plates and serve drinks wonderful experience unless you lose to the leafs. But I will return
Membership accessible only. Fantastic and attentive service. Excellent assortment and delicious food. A bit noisy from all the hockey and business talk but you are there to cheer on the Canucks so what do you expect. Buffet style with salads, seafood, 2 carving stations, desserts, etc. Table is yours for the entire evening and can come back in between periods to eat again. Everyone I've taken there has been impressed.
Hello. The Captain's Room was very good. It is right in the Rogers arena and for a game night dinner it was a great experience. Food was hot, well prepared, very tasty, good quality and well presented. It is buffet only and there is not a big selection but it was enough and as you can eat all you like you can't leave hungry. We were able to go back after the 1st period and have dessert. That was a nice perk. Desserts were great! It is a noisy place as it has low ceilings and fills up full. Hard to hear at my own table of four. There is also no view….of anything. There are TV's on the walls but as as far as viewing the ice for warm up or game there is none….only on TV's. The service was excellent and very friendly and accommodating. Something strange to me was that they don't take debit cards. Seeing as it is a pretty common way people pay these days that surprised me but I just used my MasterCard. I can see that been an issue for some however. Hope this review helps!
