Budgie's Burritos - Vancouver

Amazing! They always have the absolute best food, it's quick and efficient especially if you're on the go, and you could not get more food for the price.For $20 you get a 5 lb burrito, and if you ask them they will weigh it in front of you. I never thought I would eat vegetarian food but my friend offered to buy a burrito and split it with me and told me if I didn't like it then she would eat the whole thing and would never bother me about eating budgies again.Well... One bite and I was SOLD!!!! The food is amazing! The price is amazing! The service is fast and friendly. If you eat here you WON'T be disappointed! TRY IT!

I'm so happy that there is another great vegan restaurant. The portions are huge, however I thought it was overfilled with refined beans. It certainly bulked its size. I would enjoy a little bit more in the other stuff, like the cabbage and rice. Also, I thought it wasn't very spicy (I asked for hot). However, while I did take out some of the beans, I still enjoyed it. I'll definitely be coming back. It's pretty cool downstairs too. And love the seating. Feels very retro.

I wanted to give them a 3.5 but I'll stick to 3. This is a vegetarian Mexican restaurant in Vancouver and they have a variety of packages. I really liked Gauc with chips. The Burritos were okay in my opinion. We tried Jo June and Jamedog Burritos on two separate occasions. While Jamedog was very delicious, thanks to garlic roasted and lime potatoes in it, Jo June wasn't. I felt Jo June didn't justify the key ingredients it had in it. It was very bland and the salsa on the side didn't help it at all. After spending a lot of time in Texas and California and and being close to Mexican cuisine, my expectations were slightly higher. Parking was on the street. Didn't pay for it.

Tasty, well priced, no B.S. vegetarian food with mexican-inspired flavours. I aim to be back here more to save money, eat healthy, be a more responsible eater, and enjoy more delicious food. I had an RIP taco and it was perfect. The mild salsa was actually mild and I loved it. The staff were lovely. The vibe is chill and there's more seating than I expected downstairs. They offer everything in vegan, which is rad. As a Coca-Cola lover, I appreciated this small concession made to big corporate capitalism (not many others in this place, as far as I can tell).

I love Budgies. Great veggie burritos! The tortilla soup is yummy too. My only feedback for this place would be to please consider changing your tinfoil wrappers. I love your food, but some how I have ended up cutting myself multiple times on the tinfoil, including once quite bad.
