The food display stretches from the front of the store all the way to the back housing in neutral mall delights of cakes and pastries both savory and sweet. There's a large espresso bar as well and in the back they have soup and sandwich making ability as well. There's only three or four tables in the front which always seem full inside and there is no seating outside. There is a takeout window for those who order online or through various delivery services. As usual with breaka, the value for what you get is excellent and as mentioned already the cleanliness and environment really are very good probably considering the fact that it's it's so new. The selection of foods likewise excellent and the quality of the coffee is very good as well. This is certainly location that I would come back to you as it's located in a up in coming area Main Street and I'm sure the locals will be coming here very frequently. will come again
Good vibes at new place !Little bit congested when it’s busy and rainy outside
It seems like I have been going to this place forever since their original store at Fraser and 49th. I used to grab a coffee and donut at this place while waiting for my daughter's skating finishing at nearby sunset rink. Since then I have tried their location at downtown and the latest at main street. One thing that I can think of is consistancy no matter where you go , the quality is always there. To begin with, their coffee rivals those in the specialty coffee shop and the price is equal if not lower. I love their Americano and cappuccino. Their bread selection is where it all started and it shows. Omg you can take half an hour just gawking at the selections they have and still undecided. My favorite though is still the cranberry walnut the bread. Once you try this I swear you will have a tough time eating regular multigrain bread. Beware they have no preservatives so shelf live is very short but never a problem as we usually finished it within days. That good. Also don't store them in the fridge just room temperature will give you at least 3 days.Their other star selection are the cakes and pastries. My go to are the apple strudel cake and the apple torte, it is a bargain for how much you get for so little you pay and most of all, they are VERY good!! Lastly they have a huge selection of dessert pastries and donuts which changes from morning to night( if you don't know by now, they open 24/7) what you see in the morning at breakfast will be quite different from at night after dinner. My go to morning donut is always the chocolate custard Boston cream to most) they are big and the filling is very generous not like the Tim Horton. My after dinner dessert easily a toss up between the mango mousse and the tuxedo cake.
The ready-made food from this store on Main Street is excellent. Their customer service is top-notch! The person preparing these dishes is truly talented. I would prefer a smaller portion instead of a large shopping bag, haha.
I have frequented the Breka location on Fraser Street at 49th Avenue many times over the past few years. Throughout this time, they have consistently provided excellent service and high-quality food. Their selection of paninis is perfect for a satisfying lunch, and their baked desserts are delicious and just the right size. Whenever I find myself near a Breka location, I always make sure to stop in for a coffee and dessert or a sandwich. Breka offers tasty bakery and deli fare at a reasonable price, making it a favorite spot for lunch or a delicious snack. I may sound overly enthusiastic in my praise, but I truly believe they do an outstanding job. Thank you, Breka!
