Boulangerie la Parisienne - Vancouver

I've walked by many times and decided to try a latte and blueberry cheese cake.My friend had the frozen yogurt O my god My cheese cake must have expired two weeks ago the thing was dry and bland, all its flavour evaporated with its expiry date!Oddly enough my friends frozen yogurt must have suffered the same fate, endlessly turning in it's frozen machine till it dies or eventually turns to cheese.I guess that explains why it's never busy there.Avoid

Before flying back to California I stopped at the Boulongerie la Paisienne in Vancouver for coffee and an almond croissant. Both were excellent. I also bought a loaf of sourdough bread to take home

We were just off the train from YVR and it was early in the morning. Most places were not open....someone directed to this restaurant. Very good egg sandwiches and very good croissants The staff were friendly......but the service was very slow. It would great on a summer sunny day to eat and watch the funky, yuppie people of the area. Yaletown is a great area.

I was in there for about an hour and a half whilst I waited for someone and I really enjoyed it. The drinks were good and not too expensive. And the pastries were delicious!! Will be coming back if I am back in the neighbourhood!

If you want someone who doesn't listen to your order, gets it wrong twice & is surly to boot this is the place for you. Also if you want to hear an argument in the background whilst eating between the wait person & one of their supplires you will enjoy this place. Oh, & the food wasn't gtreat
