Bellaggio Cafe - Vancouver

Very friendly service, nice ambiance and good food.

This restaurant was within walking distance to the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel. The service was quick & friendly. I had a vegetable skillet with an egg on top. It was good even though the vegetables were mostly potatoes.

My spouse had pasta and enjoyed it. I had a Cobb salad—nice fresh variety of greens but lame, bland, and paltry toppings. Worst latte and Americano ever. :(

We chose the Bellagio for a outside breakfast spot. After about a 10 min wait, we ordered some drinks. They took another 10 mins to come, at which point we ordered our meals. The coffee was good. After another 40 min wait, two of the three meals arrived. We figured the server just couldn't carry the third, and would be back instantly. But no one came. One of the two meals was not made to order, so we also were hoping to get this oversight corrected. Unfortunately no one came to check to see how we were doing. So now we have one person eating slowly in hopes of dragging it out long enough that we may all be able to eat together. While this wasn't a bad plan, it didn't really play out that way. After another 10-15 mins of no one coming, I got up to find someone (kill me... really don't want to be THAT person!). Once finding help we sent back the meal with the error and asked for the meal that hadn't arrived yet. Note that at this point we'd been at the restaurant for over an hour with only one meal, and had long ago run out of coffee. The meals came out fairly quickly at this point, however while they fixed the error on the one, it came back ice cold (I guess they didn't think to check that). So, at least we now have two meals... with the third going back... again. Until a hair is found in the elusive 2nd meal! The waitress comes back with the 3rd meal, and it's totally the wrong order. Honestly, we started to wonder if we were on that show, What Would You Do, at this point. So we keep the third meal and eat the hair meal (I know, ewww!) cause we're starving at this point; except that once we dug into #3, we found the eggs were almost raw. Now we're really looking for the cameras. Haha. So, after over 1.5 hours, one person had a good meal, one ate hair, and one never did get a full meal. We had to actually ask if they were going to charge us for everything. In the end, they comp'd the two bad meals, and that was it. I don't normally write bad reviews, but this was so bad in terms of service, food, and the general response to their poor performance, that I find myself here... For our group, we now hold this place up as the worst place we've eaten possibly ever, and laugh at how it could possibly have been such a gong show.

Wir sind auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden, weil die Außengastronomie sehr schön gestaltet ist. Die Pizzen sind riesig, meine Lasagne seh ansprechen, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Deshalb sehr empfehlenswert.
