Bayside Lounge - Vancouver

Gotta love the views and the ambiance in this place. They have a nice drinks selection, and the food is nice as well. I can't think of any reason this place doesn't deserve my recommendation.

Came for the Dineout Vancouver menu. It's pleasantly quiet for a place with such a nice view in the West End, that alone is a big plus for me. Service was prompt and polite enough. As for the food, they were very generous with the butternut squash soup appetizer, to the point where I was struggling to finish my beef medallion entree and delicious mini donut dessert. Also, I didn't know until a friend mentioned it, but they seem to offer complimentary short term parking at the Best Western Plus (same building) for those dining here. Would come back for a relaxing drink or snack if I'm in the area.

Nice decor, great service, ribs good, wings a bit wet, beer expensive.

We are staying at the Best western Hotel which this restaurant is a part off! Last night we deceived we didn't want to go to far so ate at The Park, it was quite busy but we found a table for 2. There appeared to be mixed groups within this establishment, a large group of local people who appears to visit regularly and then the remainder being visitors. The menu had a mixed variety, with about 6 options for someone who was Gluten Free. I personally had a Shepherds Pie which stated was GF, it wasn't a traditional Shepherds Pie as we all know it but it was pleasant. Reasonably priced menu! Staff pleasant... defiantly worth a visit if in the area

Food was really good in this little restaurant in the Hotel we were staying at. I had chicken quesidillas and my daughter had the fish and chips. Both were delicous. It was busy but the staff was friendly and very quick. Will go back
