Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie - Vancouver

Staff was attentive and courteous without being overbearing. Food was delicious. Very much will visit again next time we are in town.

Great appetizers. Especially the quail eggs. Each appetizer had a unique flavour. That’s a sign of a good restaurant. However the salmon was average. All in all an exciting evening of flavourful food. Service was impeccable.

The food at Bao Bei was an interesting asian-adjacent culinary experience. We had the family course dinner for a business group. There were wonderful and diverse flavors though the seasoning was very clearly intended for a western culinary palate, biased toward sweet rather than spicy flavors. Portions were adequate and the cocktails were really inventive and fun. I have to admit I was expecting a more authentic high-end Chinese meal, but what we had was delightful and quite memorable.

Great food as always the service was very good too.

Food was amazing and the service was great. We always had someone checking our table to make sure it was clear of dishes. Very kind staff. Love the variety of dishes and everything was so delicious. Will come back soon.
