Sooo filling and healthy ! Yum ? may God bless this family, finances, and the restaurant and all their kitchen and the building and may it always be protected by Gods hands and blessed in Jesus name ! I will continue to purchase from here for my meals as long as I am in the city. This beats pizza, why would anybody want pizza when you can have this, so much variety of food and you don’t feel tired after you eat .. delicious truly . ?
I’ve been craving Ethiopian food for months so when I saw this place was open and only minutes from downtown I was all in hoping for the best and the owner really came through for me! I ordered the veggie plate and my spouse ordered something with meat and we were both in awe of these dishes. So much food!!! It lasted us the sit down meal at the restaurant AND a late night snack at the hotel. Loved talking to the owner. He was so kind and hospitable to us. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back.
It’s a hidden gem:1. Hit with a subtle fragrance of spices as I entered2. Friendly staff3. Hypnotic traditional music4. Calm vibe5. Tasty organic Coffee6. Ordered Kitbo and a soicy chicken dish7. Big portion sizes8. Pricing on point
I had been wanting to try Ethiopian food for a long time. I love a food culture that encourages eating with your fingers using some type of food as your main utensils and Injera fits the bill perfectly.I didn't do the ordering and am not totally sure what all we even got or what I was eating other than the bread but it was mostly all delicious. I think a favourite was a goat curry and a lentil dish. Also the chicken curry was unique and great
The portion was definitely generous which I very much appreciated as it was filling and enough for two people. However this is the second restaurant I've been to where I ordered LAMB and instead got BEEF. There's a very distinct difference between lamb and beef and I LOVE lamb so not easy to fool me but I paid extra for the lamb dish with the veggie combo and it was definitely beef. Infuriating.
