The Plainsman - Vancouver

The food was excellent! The biscuits and gravy were the best I've had in ages! The service was fast, and the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend arriving early if you want to secure a seat.

I really enjoy Asian restaurants, trendy spots, sushi, and all things new and modern, but every now and then, I crave a classic burger joint. You know the kind with painted windows and a friendly waitress who calls you "hun" and keeps a watchful eye on your iced tea. The Plainsman really delivered on that experience. It was filled with regulars and had no pretentiousness. The service was quick and friendly, the bacon burger was piled high with thick, crispy bacon, and the clientele represented true Americana. Sometimes, keeping it simple is just what you need.

This is one of the HIDDEN GEMS OF VANCOUVER! I am never disappointed in the food or the wonderful service!Everything is made from scratch, from their delicious French Toast to their Prime Rib cooked to perfection!! They even make three bread! They are limited in their hours, only being open for breakfast and lunch, (6-2:30 7 days) but it is AMAZING and well WORTH A VISIT!

Excellent food and service! A popular place to eat. I go there whenever I get the chance. I bring friends and they like it as well!
