Hooligan's Sports And Grill - Vancouver

My partner and I entered the bar area and sat at a table, as we usually do. We waited for 25 minutes without being acknowledged. The staff continuously looked at me without offering any assistance. This establishment lacks proper customer service. It seemed like the staff were only interested in socializing with their friends and not attending to the customers who came in for a good evening. I felt very disrespected when I tried to get the attention of the staff behind the bar. I had my ID ready to order a drink and appetizers, but the employees working that night were completely indifferent.

It appears that the staff at this restaurant favors regular customers. We chose this place for outdoor seating, but were instructed to order inside. After ordering drinks, we were told to move to a table. When we asked for more drinks, we were told the waitress was busy with another table. Feeling neglected, we decided to leave. The bartender explained they only had food runners outside. Despite pointing out that the waitress was serving the table next to us, we were met with apologies and well wishes. It seems that the restaurant prioritizes certain customers over others, based on our experience and the abundance of negative reviews.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we brought the whole family along. The food was exceptional, especially the French fries which were some of the best I've had in a long time. The outdoor tables in the tent were very comfortable, and each one even had its own fire pit. Despite every table being occupied that evening, the staff still provided great service to everyone. I highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't be disappointed. Apologies for forgetting to take pictures.

The burger and fries are really good. The mac and cheese is very rich and filling. The bar is very loud, but at least the menu is extensive and offers something for every appetite.

We loved this place, no more! the service was terrible. that was terrible. Cheese sticks were partially frozen in the middle. it is obvious that they do not really make the food, but are already made and frozen. they must have been kept out of the coolers and stored on the driven planes above the temperature. I can only imagine what else happens in this kitchen. my man got sick in the middle of the night. he ate 2 of these fried cheese stalls, I didn't, and he was the only one sick. it was bad enough to prevent him from working! eat them there on their own risk!
