Pogo's Grill - Van Nuys

This restaurant is a great spot for playing pool, enjoying drinks, and eating delicious food!

Came here a few weeks ago on a Saturday. Only one bartender so we had to go to the bar to order drinks. That’s cool. We also ordered some food. The wings were decent. The calamari was still frozen in the middle. Ewww. The drinks were on the stronger side. Point being…. Come here for some decent drinks well priced but skip the food. Last time I was here we didn’t have any of these problems but it was a couple years ago. Maybe this day was just a fluke.

I'm not sure where to begin with this place. It feels like something straight out of a movie, a classic biker bar. The staff is somewhat friendly (at least sort of!), but the customers can be a bit rough around the edges. However, the wait staff is friendly and top-notch, just like the regulars who hang out outside. After a few visits, you'll feel like a regular too. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is excellent value. Things can get rowdy on a Friday night, but despite my somewhat negative description, I highly recommend this spot.
