Okamoto Kitchen - Van Nuys

Last Friday attended a graduation party and okomoto kitchen was focused on it. best idea ever! there were four appetizers and four entrée options to choose from. sat with the sushi burrito and the potato balls and it was not disappointed. the ratio of fish and avocado to rice package was perfect and each bite was balanced. the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the catering team were absolute profis. would definitely recommend okomoto kitchen for catering events.

Just settling down from an AWESOME weekend spent celebrating my brother's grad that started with Okamoto Kitchen's wonderful catering. My whole family has always loved the food from Okamoto so, naturally, it was our number one choice when we were considering catering options. We had a party of about 80 people and Gerald and his team went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. They were on time and service was fabulous! We had four small bites and four entrees to choose from, all of which tasted amazing. Everyone could not stop talking about how fresh the food was and went back for seconds! During the planning process, Gerald was very responsive and kept me up to date every step of the way. It was my first time planning a party so I greatly appreciated the time he took to help me through it. Thank you again for everything and we will definitely be contacting you for our next function!

Attended a graduation party this past Friday and this food truck was catering. Something different but the guest of honor is a huge anime fan so made total sense to have Okomoto Kitchen there. There were four appetizer and four entrée options to choose from. I went with the potato balls and the sushi burrito. OMG both were amazingly good and the portions were absolutely spot on! Folks also said that the Okonomi burger with the fried egg was also very good. The truck showed up on time, the service was fast, the food was delicious, staff were professional and everyone was totally satisfied. What more could you ask for? 10 10 and would highly recommend Okomoto Kitchen for catering events as they did not disappoint.

Just give up if you are not even going to try... I waited so long to place an order pre order online and it was not ready for until 30 minutes after pick up. How can you screw up a order I placed the day before? How can you not be prepared to cook if that's your business?The food is terrible. Rice was dry as could be and the sushi burrito was mostly just dry rice. Their prices keep going up and up. Also the egg on one of the burgers I ordered was plastic. Like I think they accidentally put the display egg on my burger it was so chewy.Personally, I'd suggest going to your local spot for Japanese fusion cuisine because this place will make you regret spending your money.This place was great before the pandemic but they are not worth the price anymore.

You guys have great tasty food, I really love all of your none fish items because I have minor allergies to seafood . The only problems I have had with the food would be the cross catamination that I had with you fried chicken, it had a fishy like taste despite the fact that the first time I ordered one it had a normal chicken taste. Sometimes your chicken is a little under cooked as well. I do think you guys are getting to much hate lately hope this review helps. Again I really like your food.
