Roots Organic Juice Cafe - Valparaiso

I really appreciate having a lot of choices, as well as some market items. I tried the Thai quinoa bowl and the almond cupcakes (which my entire family has been enviously eyeing while I enjoy them). The smoothies are made with coconut milk but can also be prepared with almond or oat milk.

As a side note, here’s an old review I wrote on September 12, 2012: It was such a joy to have this place in Valparaiso. Everything is organic, with fresh smoothies and juices made to order. Smoothies range from $4 to $8. Don’t miss the acai dishes—they’re a creamy, frozen delight topped with granola and your choice of bananas, goji berries, coconut, cocoa powder, and more (vegan, aside from a bit of raw honey on the granola). You can customize your acai bowl as you like. They also offer salads, quinoa bowls, snacks, and baked goods (mostly muffins). Stepping into this place is everything you’d expect from a fresh, healthy restaurant. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is bright and beautiful. I love watching them prepare smoothies, and their gluten-free muffins are fantastic. The portions are generous but not excessive, and every meal is unique and delightful. They also offer a selection of interesting products and foods that I think are great. Be sure to try the green seaweeder and let them know Heather sent you!

They have many vegan friendly meal options that are all very good and have delicious vegan snacks. had a muffin on the other day and it was scrumbling. also vegan cookies are great. I love their quinoa shells and I add the vegan chipotle mayo as side

Everything on menu is organic and can be made vegan with a small omission, if not vegan already. Had the Thai quinoa bowl, very good.
