Peddlers Pizza Pub - Valparaiso

Went to peddlers pizza pub a few weeks ago with some friends. The kitchen was kind of busy and our food took a little while to come out. I was very happy that the manager personally came over and apologized for the wait and decided to compensate us with afree appetizer. We will definitely be returning excellent customer service, and the food was great!

Good atmosphere, a little loud at times, but not to terrible. Had the gyro pi. It is definitely worth a try if you like gyros. I went sans feta cheese though and thought it was still very tasty. On nice days, they have a window on the front of therestaurant that opens to almost the full length of the store front. You can sit at the bar seating there and enjoy watching topeople walk by. They do have a bar as well. Sports were on all the TV's while we were in there.

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant tonight! Our waitress Melle was very friendly and made sure to clarify which dishes were vegan. We've been wanting to try a new pizza place since Tony's doesn't have vegan options. The breadsticks with homemade red sauce were tasty, as was the monkey bread. We're excited to come back! I've seen some people mention that the gluten-free cauliflower crust is vegan, but I asked and it actually contains mozzarella cheese, so it's not vegan.

Delicious pizza with a variety of crust options including hand-tossed, pan, cracker, or cauliflower. They offer a wide selection of vegetable toppings and use Daiya vegan cheese. Appetizers include breadsticks, veggie plate with hummus, fries, tots, onion rings, and caprese. Sandwich options include the Veggie Strom with mushrooms, spinach, onions, green pepper, mozzarella, and red sauce (vegan cheese available upon request), as well as the Veggie Wrap with cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, red onion, and hummus on honey wheat wrap. Specialty salads can easily be made vegan. They have a great selection of local beers on tap, signature drinks like Basil Martini and Peddlers Paloma, and wine by the glass or bottle. They also offer 30 types of whisky. Our fantastic and friendly waitress was Jaymelle.

Just had a delightful dinner at Peddlers Pizza. They had tater tots that we ordered plain and then with melted vegan cheese. Great crispy tots! They have many vegan pizza crust options, including a gluten free cauliflower crust that was amazing. Multiple sauces can be vegan, including the base red sauce and garlic and oil. I had mushrooms, spinach, green onions, tomatoes and vegan cheese. Service was great, waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. Updated from previous review on 2020-09-18
