L'espousse - Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

A remarkable restaurant with a warm welcome. A 5-course service decided by the chef. And which is very well explained during the service in the room. Surprising flavors and combinations. A real taste adventure. The only downside is the children's menu, starter main course or dessert main course, which even if the dish is different from that of adults, the starter and dessert remain the same for a price of 24th per child. The quality is certainly there but the price is way too high for a child.

Notre 4e visite en 4 ans. Vraiment une perle cachée. Beau site internet et facile de réserver. Le concept: une table est réservée pour toute la soirée. Vous n'êtes donc pas pressé de sortir. Ils veulent juste la certitude que si vous réservez, vous viendrez, sinon ils auraient acheté des produits pour rien! Vous êtes surpris par le chef mais tout est délicieux et les assiettes sont magnifiquement présentées. Ne laissez pas l'absence de menu vous décourager. À mon avis, il n'y a pas de meilleur restaurant dans la région et pour ce prix! Il avait beaucoup plu ce jour-là et il y avait du vent fort, on pouvait le voir un peu, haha. C'est une terrasse extérieure couverte! Elle semble un peu datée mais cela ne gâche en rien le plaisir. Chaque visite à Vallon est une visite à L'Espousse. Merci L'Espousse, à la prochaine fois.

Can I give more than 5 stars?? it was an evening to remember, a cozy atmosphere under the canopy on the terrace. small, private and intimate atmosphere with a total of 7 couples who came to eat. nice hostess and chef, no one else, and the level set is worthy of Michelin! no menu, 5 courses at the chef's discretion, and we paired it with matching wines. everything fresh, local and organic. even the vegetarian dishes were excellent. flavor combinations that you could never imagine, and in combination with the wine it was really fantastic! it was the last evening of our holiday and we really ended on a high. If we come back to the Ardèche, we will definitely come back to eat here! thanks for the great evening!

Really great evening. The terrace is a nice and Cosy place to sit. The food is different than we are used to, but soo good and fresh!! We really enjoyed our evening, the wine and the food!!

Nice and cosy family restaurant, where you eat a fantastic 30 euro menu from a young cook with Michelin star experience. Really a fantastic bomb of flavours, colours, originality, and a very kind service on a very cosy terrace. What a surprising lunch for us ! Really top ! Thank you !
