auberge du pouzat - Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

This was a lucky find on the way to Pont Arc. More or less in the middle of nowhere. The place seemed to be run by one man. Taking the orders, fixing the drinks and cooking the food. Delicious home cooked food that tasted divine. Well worth stopping at, I would go again for sure.

Driving the Gorges d'Ardeche was hot and thirsty work. So to stumble on the Auberge was timely. We had first a drink then decided on lunch. Lunch was OK but nothing special and for what it was a bit pricey. However the service was good and our dog appreciated a bowel of water to drink

After a long way to cross Ardèche gorges it was nice to stop to the Auberge. The welcome was great, the food was good like the local red wine. They serve local specialities as well. I recommend.

Stumbled across this place on a day trip along the Ardesche. A lovely ambience on the front veranda and good food. The lunch menu is small but of good quality. It is very french and little english is spoken. If you need english menus and everything explained to you perhaps go elsewhere. Overall i would say visit if you want a nice meal but not if you only want a panini or sandwich.

Very pleasant place , complicated service because just a person so in this end of grip you feel a great tired food of qualite snack with an artisanal accent on desserts
