Spruce Street Tavern - Valley

I've been coming to this place for over my whole life. Practically one of the best sports bars I know great to go out to hang out and especially to watch the game. Great staff everybody's friendly, great food great drinks genuinely a very fun environment. if you ever get the chance go visit the place

You know you 've found a good small-town dive bar when you arrive at 9:45am and there 's already someone slumped at the bar who has had a few too many. The bar opens at 8am, and already on this Saturday morning there were about half a dozen people in here, all watching the movie Sorority Boys on TV. With a pool table in the back, a juke box, car parts mounted on the wall, and cold domestic draft beer served in mugs, this is a good and classic small-town bar.

Great service Best pizza in area , cheap hamburgers during lunch $3.50 hamburger and fries , nice atmosphere , everyone is friendly plenty of good conversation

This review is mainly about the food. My wife and I stumbled across Spruce Street Tavern on our way home one evening. We stopped in to order a pizza on a Friday night a few months ago. It was great! We loved it. So we've stopped in several more times to get food. While we wait we may have a drink or two but that's about it, so I can't review this place as a bar. Our only note: it's best to come in for food on weekends when Mike is cooking. I believe he also works a few nights during the week. We happened to come in on a night he wasn't working and the food was not even close to what we'd been used to getting. He really does a great job! We definitely plan on continuing to come back and have recommended this place to several friends They agree about who the best cook is they went in during the day once when Mike wasn't there and were surprised that the quality of food was so much worse than it had been when Mike had cooked.
