Vegan Heat - Vallejo

Had a meal last week from Vegan Heat with friends for the first time. The food was to salty, I couldn't enjoy.

Vegan Heat exceeded my expectations. Every bite was delicious and flavorful. The portions are plentiful and oh-so amazing! The mac n cheese is off-the-charts creamy and tasty! The Chopped Rib BBQ Sandwich is full of flavor and texturally spot on! If you are in the area, go! If it’s a day or two drive, go! Top my list of favorites! 7/1/23 I wish I could write a review for every time I order and eat from Vegan Heat! This food is OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing! The flavors, so delicious. Since my original review I have had: Crispy Jerk Chicken with the Rasta Pasta it has a heck of a kick. Loved it! And the croissant that came with it, oh my yum! Shrimp Sandwich w/blueberry sauce mac and cheese. Amazingness! Brownie Sweet treat! So good! And I've had that Chopped Rib BBQ Sandwich several times. Updated from previous review on 2023-04-27

If you want an authentic soul food experience, find Vegan Heat. Chef Rene is incredibly talented. Her food is soul satisfying. My partner and I traveled all the way from North Carolina for her amazing food. We tried the bbq sandwich and mac, rasta pasta and the agave bbq wings. There is none better in the state of Texas. Vegan Heat is a hidden gem that deserved applauding.

Oxtails and rice bowl, bbq rib sandwich, bbq grit bowl, Mac cheese…you better get into it!!! This food is freaking fire! And the owner is so sweet. Follow them on Instagram and make sure you text your order and the color of your vehicle and they will bring out to you. You will NOT be disappointed!

What's not to love!? If you're all about traditional-style foods made vegan, DON'T SLEEP ON THIS EDIBLE ART! Seriously, Chef Rene knows not only how to cook but how to create! Make sure you follow her IG to stay posted daily about menu changes and other updates. Rene is truly for the people and always makes sure she takes care of us! Please help support because we definitely need her out here! I've yet to try a single thing that lacked in anything, and I'm quite the critic, so I know you will find something you like as well!
