Frymazing - Vallejo

OMG! I think the honey butter wings are the closest thing to heaven on earth that I've ever experienced. I randomly happened upon this place after looking for something that had good reviews and photogenic food after my booster shot at the local Kaiser. I've been on a Korean fried chicken kick for the past month so wasn't expecting anything special. Upon arriving the first thing I noticed was that this spot is located in a very unassuming strip mall. On the plus side that means parking isn't an issue. Once I went inside, I realized seating was only available on the perimeter and bar style. I was kind of disappointed since I was looking for more of a sit down experience but after ordering I noticed most people ordered to go. Take out is probably for the best here given that the place is small. Anyway I ordered bibimbap, fire fries, and a half half mix of chillin chili and honey butter wings. Place had cute vibes and good music which was appreciated and noted because I waited about 20 minutes. I must admit that the wait was a little off putting but they were consistently busy so it was understandable. While I'd normally knock a star for this, when I got my food and bit into it, all my complaints were nullified. Their food was worth the wait! The honey butter wings were my absolute favorite. Words can't describe the ecstasy I felt when I bit into my first wing. That joy persisted even when eating them hours later and cold. All I can say to describe the honey butter wings is that it's like if fried chicken and biscuits had a beautiful baby. I was excited about the chillin chili wings but the kind of chili used was not my favorite but still edible and enjoyable. The pair nicely balanced each other as the chili did have a kick. The kick also paired well with the fire fries that weren't fire as in spicy but were fire as in amazing (my second favorite item ordered). The bibimbap was flavorful but hard to mix given how packed the dish was in the shallow container. The blue lemonade was fun but sweet and nothing I need to ever order again. I do, however, need to come back and am willing to cross a bridge and pay a toll just to get my hands on these wings! Don't sleep on these!

Phenomenal service, authentic food, and just what you would want to have in Vallejo. Many people sleep on Korean food, and that is unfortunate. This is a restaurant that can change minds of those who may be picky to try new dishes. I buy food for my coworkers, who all have different palates and preferences. Please believe we are all satisfied after enjoying the delicious food from Frymazing!

Haven't been to Frymazing for a while. Came by for some wings. Had the original and honey butter flavors. Strawberry lemonade was really good. Good cook on the wings just right amount of sauce. Place was busy. Everything is cooked to order. May not be fast but worth the wait.

The gimbab is sooooooo good : (only friday saturday the photos in the restaurant only advertised 5 pieces, got a little worried, but as we got the food it was a lot more and it was huge!! will come back again tomorrow..

This place is so clean and sweet! the interieur is well updated. my food was ready in 10 minutes and delicious. the prices are very reasonable. I'm not sure it's the best Korean food I had, but it's good for a fast boggi and rice mix.
