La Palapita de Los Tamales - Valladolid

The food is amazing, the staff super friendly and they have a small store full of handmade clothes and other things, we ended up buying two shirts and loved the food.

Amazing food, lovely staff, I'd go back for sure. Their wait staff even offered us insect repellent coz we were being beaten non stop on our walks outside, so sweet.

I am a tamale fanatic and was not happy with the very limited selection. Got the only vegetarian selection and it was dry and very bland. Husband got one with eggs and it seemed to have been fried, very hard crust. Maybe this is a...regional difference, but not my favorite. Servers did not seem the slightest bit interested in us or our business. Would not go back.

Wonderful lunch experience. Beautiful, fresh, local food and Daniel my server was perfect. Don’t miss this place!

It's pretty easy to write this review: - food was awesome (come on Monday and try Frijoles con Puerco and Mechado, simply great!)- owner was so kind (he offered a dessert to our kid and prepared himself a honey-lime mix for him, since he was coughing)- price was extremely low (2 jugos naturales and 2 complete meals for 220pesos).No more questions, just try it and you'll love it
