Decoration is pleasant with typical Lebanese and Armenian foods that are worth exploring especially for curious cungen. because of allergies I couldn't taste everything, but the manager is nice enough to answer our actual questions. for an asiate like me, I think the flavor is adapted for French taste budget with less seasoned. if they are non-European, which is used to spicy and spicy food, they find it need a bit more bit more bite. else, if they like less spicy food, then it's good. the service is good, even the manager are all there. I have seen the comments of other people to the serviettes that are not pressed, I also noticed the same. Although the serviettes looked clean, it would be nice to have them also properly pressed. the same with the table cloth. after each guest they replace the table cloth that is good to know. overall I guess this resto a 4.
I have been going to sassoun for about 15 years, especially because it always had an option that is a great selection of vegetarian specialties Armenian/Lebanese. filled wein leaves, hummus and smoked aubergine di, Armenian ratatouille, huge beans in sose, okra, ground whales with...chilli and granatapfel juice, lens frits to name just a few. it's a real tasty bite. also the Lebanese weine, both red and white, are delicious. the ambiente is relaxed, the server friendly, eating is inspiring and it is really not very expensive.
We visited for dinner and chose for the 25 dishes menu. eating was nice with many different sorts of Lebanese cousin. the staff is very friendly and the service was good and fast. had a good time and enjoyed eating.
A group of us enjoyed an excellent dinner at Sassoun. Outstanding flavors, and good menu selection. I love Middle Eastern food so this Armenian Lebanese restaurant was a great find. Everything is fresh and tastes fantastic. Small restaurant setting which makes for a very...enjoyable intimate dinner. I can only recommend.
