Przekaż informację zwrotnąLe Milou is a restaurant in the historic centre of Valence, which is in the beautiful Plaza de la Pierre. There are a half dozen restaurants in this square, but they all fill up fast on the weekend, and if you can book, better. It is a small and cozy place, which serves good regional food. The terrace is very pleasant in summer, because large trees give shade. You can eat without drinks for less than 15 euros, then they have a menu of small wines from the region that is quite cheap as well. If you eat the dish of the day with a coffee, you get 10 euros a half day, at night, depending on what you ask, but there is no fixed menu, you can go up to 25 euros per person. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

The wife and I ate here recently. It was a very stormy night and despite being on her own, the waitress served about 20 people who crowded inside after the rain began to fall. I had the 'house' burger and the wife chose a salad, and we both had a selection of cheeses to finish. A little bit of local wine washed everything down. All was delicious, especially the burger, which was the best I've eaten in a long time. It's located in a nice quaint square away from the main thoroughfares, and well worth the visit.
Tiny with good food, one competent and friendly waitress serving everyone, a good bottle of St Joseph. Tres sympa as the locals say. I had another delicious pumpkin and chestnut cream soup and an excellent steak au poivre. Probably my favorite joint in Valence.
Starter millefeuille with aubergine and mozerella was right out of the fridge and much too cold. Main fish was partly ok and partly not fresh.
