Now, THE FISHES is not to be confused with FISHERS the former being a lovely big gastro pub, set in North Hinksey Village, with a whole acre of green gardens backing onto Seacourt Stream; the latter being a small seafood restaurant in St Clements, which can be somewhat hit or miss. Visited on Saturday with my daughter and granddaughter. The pub itself is lovely, wonderful garden too. Obviously very busy. My daughters Aperol Spritz was flat, she drank it all before telling me, I don't think she wanted to make a fuss.I did mention this to the duty manager, so he could pass the feedback to the bar staff. I ordered everything from the app. The baked Camembert was delicious, but only came with one slice of bread, so I ordered more bread, we waited mins, it didn't arrive. The young staff seem under a lot of pressure. I was refunded a couple of days later for the bread that didn't turn up. A complimentary drink as an apology would have been nice. I didn't feel like a valued customer.

I haven't been fishing since one of them, although I've gone since my childhood. we were two big groups celebrating a birthday. eating was delicious, each one of us loved eating and the staff was so friendly and efficient, so I would like to congratulate them. they were even good for the vegetarian and vegan in our party who also enjoyed their food, especially dessert! well made the fishes. we will not leave it so long!

Absolutely exquisite eating. the service was amazing and I can't wait to go back to my birthday on the 22nd. I had the squid to begin, burger to lunch and bananenpude. my partner had the camembert for the starter and the galone that was huge and tasty, and my mother has the fish cake that was super. filled with the loads of fish deffo recommend xx
