R&r - Vale of White Horse

That's the last time I'm having a jacket potato. Sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's meh, but this time the potato was burnt and tasted of plastic, the cheese was cold, and the bacon was from last century. And this isn't the first time this has happened, or the second or third. I'll be looking elsewhere for lunch now. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Clean, with good food and service. Their iced latte is far better than any I've had at the larger chains. R&R has become our preferred café in Abingdon when we come here for a riverside walk, and they have plenty of competition in the immediate area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I go here with my son regularly, we both love it's casual atmosphere, the food and the coffee are perfect. For us, best cafe in town, the cakes are amazing, everything is so fresh! Toilets are accessible (no steps) and always clean. Thank you! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there's a ramp into the the cafe, and toilets are level. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Appalling service is all I can say. Ordered 2 drinks and 2 panini's. Drinks arrived quickly. How long do you wait for a panini when it's practically empty inside. After 20 mins I enquired as to the progress of our panini's. The cashier went off to the kitchen and came back with they have been burned do you want a refund? Obviously didn't want to start again so I accepted the refund. Question you have to ask is how long would they have us there before offering a refund

R&R is almost entirely responsible for any and all sense of well-being I derive from my time in Oxfordshire. They even put up with Starbucks leaving their mugs on R&R tables, a clear breach of etiquette, and the staff have to put up with the swarms of entitled upper-class coffee-goers in Abingdon who collapse in paroxysms of fright when things take longer than 30 seconds to brew/bake/make to order. If I see one more negative review on this Google page, I’ll develop a stress-related aneurysm and perish. There’s a reason R&R is mentioned three times in the Bible.
