Forget Me Not Tea Room

This fantastic café in the charming village of Uffington offers more than your typical tea rooms. They serve incredibly delicious cakes and treats that are sure to delight any visitor. The friendly staff welcome you with warm smiles and there is a fantastic selection of cakes to choose from. Our children love visiting this place and want to come back every weekend. The café even provides a box of toys to keep the little ones entertained. It's great value for money too.

This restaurant is a quintessential English establishment! The homemade food made by local women with welcoming smiles spreads joy throughout. Located in the charming Thomas Hughes Village Hall, a testament to what determination can achieve as it was funded by the annual White Horse Show. I enjoyed a pot of tea and a simple ploughman's lunch, both delicious and affordably priced. Here's hoping this type of institution thrives for years to come.

I recently visited this small pop-up tearoom based on a recommendation from Trip Advisor a couple of weeks ago. Situated in the village hall, it provided a delightful old-fashioned experience with 1930s music playing on a vintage gramophone, charming bunting, and 1940s-style fabric decorating the space. The ladies who manage the tearoom were friendly and talkative, going above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. The tea was excellent, and the cakes and scones we tried were delicious. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely come back.

We discovered this wonderful gem after a visit to the White Horse Hill. The tea room is in the village hall and unfortunately is only open on a Saturday. Suggest you visit White Horse Hill on a Saturday). The owner is welcoming enthusiastic, friendly and deserves your support. The coffee is fresh and plentiful and the cakes are home made. Other reviews will tell you about the china and food but my memories will be of the warm welcome and pure Englishness of this establishment. If all of the residents of Uffington are as friendly it must be a lovely place to live.

A lovely vintage tearoom with lovely cakes and tea. Nice selection of simple homemade food and reasonably priced too. This listing was misleading as it was still open at 4pm on Saturday.
