The atmosphere is relaxing and all the furnishings are made with furniture and objects from the past, which is truly unique. The owner is very nice, helpful and passionate. Abundant and tasty portions, with very particular and successful flavor combinations. From appetizer to dessert, a true euphoria for the palate. Prices more than fair. I highly recommend it!!
The previous 5 star reviews tell the truth. The place, isolated in the woods, is furnished in a very pleasant and welcoming way, I was there in August and therefore the fireplace was turned off but I can imagine the autumnal atmosphere. The food is excellent, the prices are low compared to the quality (2 mixed starters, 2 first courses, 2 desserts, water, wine and coffee: 53 euros). The owner is passionate about her work, and willingly spends time explaining dishes and ingredients. I will definitely come back.
Had a good lunch in this farmhouse in the middle of the woods. You can see the passion put into the search for quality and the preparation of the food, favoring local products and cuisine. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable and passionately explains the preparation and origin of the dishes. Furthermore, in addition to the good lunch, we also enjoyed a relaxing walk in the woods where we were surprised to admire the frescoes of a beautiful 15th century chapel, a national monument. I recommend going there.
Enchanting location, vintage mountain style. Run by women only, Annalisa is very good at explaining their project. The cook Laura is excellent. As soon as we enter the fireplace welcomes us and we notice the beautiful vintage crockery. Freshly made bread, delicious the one with walnuts and raisins. Mixed appetizers for two. The first courses are their specialty and for us there were gnocchi with mushrooms and ravioli filled with goat's cheese with parsley (fresh pasta strictly homemade). As second courses, veal stew and mixed cheeses with white polenta. Satiated, we ordered some coffee, a good mocha to finish this delicious meal. Good bulk wine, in our case a good wine. The place is lovely and the service provided was perfect. The added value was the hospitality that was felt from the first moment. Typical, genuine food, cooked with originality and well served. The gnocchi with herbs were, in my opinion, the highlight of the lunch! Absolutely recommended, especially to those who still appreciate the simplicity and sincerity of human relationships and the tranquility in the peace of the silent forest. We will be back for sure!
